Wataru Otake (b. 1994, Fukushima, Japan) is a fashion photographer based between London and Tokyo.
After graduating from Bunka Fashion College, he began his career in apparel production before joining Roppongi Studio, where he developed a strong foundation in lighting, form, and visual discipline.

In 2025, he relocated to the United Kingdom to expand his practice within an international fashion and editorial context.

His work focuses on people within their environments — capturing quiet tension, individuality, and atmosphere as they naturally unfold. Blending the precision of studio photography with the rawness of location, his images move fluidly between fashion, portraiture, and visual storytelling.
